Procurement principles
The Procurement of ERGO buys a wide variety of goods and services. We procure best total value, i.e. we consider quality, time and cost aspects, and adhere to stringent regulatory and reporting requirements, at all times. So we help to make a significant and sustainable contribution to the success of the ERGO Group worldwide.
A high sense of responsibility towards the company is the benchmark for our procurement activities along the entire value chain. Environmental, social and corporate governance aspects (ESG: Environment, Social and Governance) play a major role for ERGO. Therefore, we also hold our suppliers accountable for sustainable business practices.
Sustainability and transparency along the entire value chain as well as price and quality are crucial for a successful cooperation with us. These principles apply to all business units of our parent company MunichRe.
In addition to registering on our eProcurement platform, signing the CR Clausel, which includes the Supplier Code of Conduct, is also necessary as a first step in order to consider you as a potential business partner.
